The results over the last 5 years provide a good picture of learning over the life of our students in 3rd through 9th grade.  The chart below provides a visual depiction of how well our students have performed on this exam.  In this graph, GA student performance is expressed in percentile rank in comparison to the national norm.  The 50th percentile line (highlighted) represents the national norm in the United States.

Like most achievement tests administered across the United States, the CTP-4 exam is used by the Duke Talent Identifcation Program (Duke TIPs).  The Duke University Talent Identification Program is a nonprofit organization dedicated to serving academically gifted youth. As a world leader in gifted and talented education, Duke TIP works with students, their parents, and educators to identify, recognize, challenge, engage, and help students reach their highest potential.

The 7th Grade Talent Search identifies academically qualified students and invites them to complete college entrance examinations (SAT or ACT) alongside high-school students. Students are formally recognized for their test scores, provided with detailed information about their abilities, and introduced to an available network of academic opportunities and resources.

The classical education Grace Academy students receive helps to better prepare students for opportunities such as this.  In 2011, 50% of 7th grade students qualified for the Duke TIPs program.  Since Grace Academy began administering achievement tests almost 60% of all 7th graders have qualified for Duke TIPs.
