Parent Council has officially placed our order for the new campus playground equipment! This exciting addition to our campus was funded by an opportune combination of SCRIP program profits and a GameTime grant. The equipment and delivery totaled close to $28,000. Because of the GameTime grant (the playground manufacturer), our cost was reduced to just over $16,000. Although the equipment is completely funded through previous SCRIP purchases, we still have a little further to go to complete the installation of our project. Site prep, playground borders and fall material are estimated to cost approximately $4100. By simply utilizing the FREE MONEY available through SCRIP, the businesses we shop at most can completely fund the remainder of this project. Information on how to order SCRIP is available in the office! Orders are due Tuesdays by 3:05pm. |
